Thoughts of Paris....

With Paris always in my thoughts, these are some French essentials.....at least they are for me!
A really good travel guide of Paris, (or France if you plan to travel further afield) is a must, you won't want to miss a thing. It is wonderful to relax after a long day of sight seeing with a soothing glass of rose. My all time favorite dessert is a creme brulee, but what better way to start the day than with a petit dejeuner of crusty fresh bread or a cloud soft croissant.......doesn't it just make you want to pack you bags!
Of course all of these things are wonderful to experience in 'real-life', but it such a buzz to be able to find all my favorite things also in 'miniature'.

Dear Linda, our dreams are so nice ... We have only to shut our eyes and think hard about what we like! But sometimes even dream with open eyes: I happen every time I read the blog "une petite folie" :-)

What a lovely display of miniatures! :-)
It is wonderful to dream, but even more wonderful too be able to realize those dreams daily in 1:12 scale.
How nice to have creme brulee, French bread and croissant every day and all without calories! lol

Linda, I think I'll sit right down and join you with your French treats. I've never been to Paris, but am reading a book about a French architect from the mid 1800's (historical fiction, but based on a true person)called "Haussman or the Distiction". Books, as well as minis, can take you to these wonderful places until you get a chance at the real thing...someday!

;-)))
Bonsoir !
Tatieva
