collecting more pretties....

I am very slowly collecting more pretty little bits and pieces for my next project. The latest items to arrive in my mail box were the pretty cranberry glass items made by 'Glasscraft Uk'. The vase and the candles sticks I think are very sweet, but I adore the tiny perfume bottles and trinket/powder bowl.....very cute, very tiny and a if you drop one of the stoppers on the carpet it is an absolute horror to find.....believe me...lol!!!

The last photo is showing just some of the collection grouped together after I had the paint brush out giving them all a dust.....!!!

Well, everthing is exceptionally delightful and exquisitely beautiful ... but, I think the thought most of us will be expressing is .... just what wonderful thing is 'she' up to now'! I can't wait to see!

Monica, I do feel like a tease at the moment, but it is not intensional! I 80% know what I will be doing....it is the remaining 20% that I am still thinking about....but I will get there (fingers crossed)!

Catherine, As you know I am a slow worker....and buyer!! I am very careful with the food items I buy...the scale must be perfect, I think that is the most important thing...then the detail, design, colour etc. Who knew miniatures were so complexed!!!!

Lovely cranberry glass, the perfume bottles specially are to die for!

Your taste in miniatures is an inspiration.

That glassware is just so beautiful, and indeed I can't imagine how you managed to find a lost perfume bottle stopper, it must be so very very tiny!

Certainly a wonderful collection taking shape.

Caterina...miniatures are like clothing, "it's not what you have in your wardrobe....it's how you wear it"! Happy Easter to you also...x

Norma...finding that bottle stopper was a big challenge, I was too scared to move incase I stepped on it....but it all ended without tears...lol!!

It is all very beautiful. I think perhaps your next project may be a shop?

I was drooling over your collection looking at the full size photo when I suddenly noticed something in the background...a garden GNOME? Is he a red herring or are you planning some lovely outside space?

My beloved, modest dollhouse is almost finished ie have started the lighting, painting and whether to wallpaper - However, I have discovered how difficult it can be to get the exact scale despite the fact the furniture etc states it is 1/12th! so I can understand how worth while it is for you to take some time Linda!x
