Entrance....

This is a more recent photo of the entrance. The items on the centre table will not remain, I need a large vase of beautiful pink roses!!! The small t-pot and sugar bowl I bought in London from Christen Baybar, (I think they are the most expensive miniature items I have bought!!!) The pink floral urn and small vase are hand made here in Tasmania.....I love her work!! The pink vase and bowl are from England. I leave these 'out' until I find a place for them in the house, I think they are too pretty to put away!

Linda your house is so exquisite and it looks so real it is hard to imagine that it is a dollhouse. And your plant turned out very well indeed.

Linda, I'm so in love with your dollhouse. Maybe I could live there? Lol. So wonderful. I can't wait to see more. I love miniature
chandeliers too! I have a couple old ones I'm re-doing. I want to use them in a shabby bakery. Thanks so much for your lovely pictures. Mini hugs!

Linda - your miniature house is incredible. Are you an architect? I have so enjoyed reading your blog and look forward to seeing more of your project and your other French 'loves. Thank you so much for featuring 'My French Life' on your blog - I am so flattered and deeply appreciative. Welcome to blogging and I look forward to many more visits, xv

I found your blog yesterday and spent quality time reading through it. You have a beautiful house, the details are exquisite!
The tromp l'oel on the staircase wall is my favorite. And the doves on the eaves :)

May I ask what you have used on the outer walls? Is it just paint or maybe clay underneath?

Hi Susanna,
....the outside of the house is painted over the wooden detailing, while the doves are a 'button' that I bought in a little needlework shop in Uzes in the south of France....

Your blog is REALLY inspiring..made me want to go and do something to my dollhouse in progress immediately :-) But since I live in a very small apartment (almost 1:12 while I'm 1:1) I don't really have any room for a dollhouse let alone room to work on one. So I mainly collect things for now waiting for that day when I can afford to move into a bigger home. I simply love the work from the Tasmanian lady you refer to (the urn, the vase, the bust). Does she by any chance sells her things via the internet? I'm sure I'd be able to find a little space for one or two of her items somewhere..
