This is the project that has kept me busy (one way or another) for the past 4 years. I must start by saying that this house is NOT a kit.....I'll admit I did look at kit houses to buy, but couldn't find one that I really had to have. So, the only other option was to build my own......sounds easy when you say it fast!
Through this blog I would like to take you on the journey (if you would like to come along.....) of how I made it, showing you the plans, drawings of the detail work on the house.....(which this photo possibly isn't doing)...... and perhaps I could be the inspiration behind your doll house.
I must say though.....while I love what I do and I would never part with this house......it has been at times one of the most frustrating and time consuming things I have ever done......but wouldn't have it any other way.
Please note that it is a work in progress, although I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now......all be it just a glimps now and them!!!

Good evening Linda,
I'm looking forward seeing your house.
It looks magnificent.
We seem to have same likings: I own Mulvany&Rogers book and Frisoni's too.
I understand your love for France, I love it too even though in Italy we have some of the most loveliest spots.
I'll keep calling at your place. See you soon Rosanna
Awesome! I just love it! I too am working on a French maison - country style though. I have plans for a fancy French Chateau as well, but need to finish my maison first (it's on my blog!). Can't wait to see how this goes!
Hi Linda,
I noticed that you love 'My French life' by Vicki Archer. Letting you know Vicki also has a blog called French Essence(http://frenchessence.blogspot.com).
Cheers,
Sara
