Pain D'epices....

This is a pretty little doll house (cafe) in a shop widow in the centre of Paris, I remember being very excited when I first saw it....which is about 4yrs ago now!! I love the way it is 'aged', the colours, the uneven roof tiles and of course the 'detail'...it's always about the 'detail'!!!!!

Now.....if there is any one getting excited about this shop....don't quote me, but I think it is available in kit form. I do know for sure that the signs etc. on the front of the shop are available for purchase, so if this is for you, brush-up on your French and drop them a note.... or better still visit......

Pain D'epices. 29 Passage Jouffroy. 75009 Paris.

I've been there and bought all the trimmings and mouldings and lights (!) for my old house. It's really worth a visit. Walter was not that happy though, I kept scolding him to pay attention and not break anything

Linda, You used the perfect words in my miniature vocabulary....detail; it;s always in the detail and that is what our miniatures are all about. I love the Cafe Tabac; your site if fabulous!!!!
