More work on the piano....

....I have done a little more work to the Grand Piano, I've covered the stool in a soft blue silk fabric, added some sheet music, then borrowed the vase of tulips to finish the setting.

Next job is to get to work and finish this room, the grande salon. Not a lot of work is requires, some upholstery on a couple of chairs, finish the fire place, make some curtains, then add a few 'pretty' bits and pieces!!....well if you say it really fast it doesn't sound like too much to do!

Thank you all so very much!!

Rosanna, I paint, then I sand with very fine (#400) sand paper, then paint again, but aways finish with a fine sanding. For the piano I did about 5 paint and sandings before I finished with a gloss. No great secret I'm afraid, it just takes lots of time....and skin off finger tips!!

I love that piano! I want the same in black :) Yours look so wonderful!

Oh and btw, I hope you don't mind, but the French word 'salon' is masculine, so it's grand salon (I hope I'm not hurting your feelings, it's just that I'm always happy when people tell me the errors I make)

Beautiful......Really such work of art. I love coming here to see what you have done. Please can I live in your dollhouse? I could be very happy there Lol Mini hugs my friend.

Thanks Stephanie, if my piano was in 'real' scale I would prefer it in black, but it just had to be white for the petite maison....and....I really don't know how any one can remember if the word is masculane or feminine, way to hard for me!!

Kim...my little house would be very lucky to have you live in it!!
