...more bedroom photos....
....not wanting to bore you with more of the same, but I have taken a few more photos of the bedroom from a different angle...hoped you might be interested....??
...this photo I took with the morning sun coming through the window of the 'petite maison'...it looked rather pretty with the sun shining through the crystal chandelier.
...and this is a better photos of the quilt, the morning light was a lot kinder and the colours look so much fresher...
Absolutely beautiful. When I saw the second photograph with the morning light coming through the window I had to ask myself, is this the real life inspiration for the miniature bedrrom. OMG, NO, it is the miniature bedroom! Marsha
Are you kidding? Keep them coming! Your work is exquisite! I agree with Marsha - If one didn't know this was a dollhouse, we would be completely fooled. I love your work, Linda.
I don't think boring could ever be used when this house is in the pictures. Love the morning light pictures so much. Lovely lovely room and house. I bet you smile everytime you look at it. I know I would. Hugs~ Kim
Always completely blown away by the beauty of your petite Maison! You did a great job painting that bed. Love the morning sun pics! Tute for fabric draping is almost ready. Will probably be able to post it late Sunday or early Monday. Do you spend a lot of time just gazing at the Maison? I know I would! Mercedes
I think it is as difficult and important taking a good picture as making a good mini (I have sometimes took 20 or 30 pics and none of them was OK). Your pics are stunning!! I like specially the second image. Whit that light the bedroom atmosphere looks peaceful, warm, and so REAL!!!! Hugs, Paloma
Oh, my goodness! How exquisitely lovely! And I have to ask how you did the quilt??? I make fullsize quilts and some very complicated patterns but I have tried mini quilts and haven't liked the results. This is gorgeous! I hope you'll share your technique.
I have to tell you how very much I enjoyed looking at the photos of the bedroom. Every detail is amazing. It is absolutely beautiful. And....How did you make that fantastic quilt?
Linda, there is no way you could bore me with more pictures of your beautiful work. I love everything about this room, especially that quilt! I hope someday you will tell us all about how you made it.
I love your minis, light and shadow, composition, distribution of furniture and objects, the elegance ... Fantastic, I never get tired of seeing photos. Hugs.
It's a beautiful room! All the details, the colors... I'd love to stay there. When I saw the first picture I thought it was from a magazine and then I read the post and realized it's your miniature room. :) Very very nice!
This is so gorgeous, it is so perfect down to each detail, from the photo you can't even tell this is a miniature room. Oh, I love tiny things. Your blog is lovely.
Hi Linda, your miniatures are truly magnificent and you are officially my miniature idol..!! Good to know you're an aussie too! I look forward to seeing your future work. Congratulations on such a special gift. Lorella (Precious Little)
I have a passion for all things French. I would like this blog to reflect my love of Paris, it's architecture, gardens and way of life. This has been the inspiration for travel, love of interior decorating and last but not least my fascination with miniatures.
