"Maisons De Poupees"

The "Musee de la Poupee -Paris is presenting a new temporary exhibition entitled "Maison De Poupee-the art of miniature"......it is a collection of contempory doll houses belonging to Madame Ingeborg Riesser.
If you are lucky enough to be in Paris between 29th Sept. 2009 & 7th Mar. 2010 I believe this would be an exhibition not to be missed. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mme. Riesser at her shop "Poupee Tendresse" in Paris, she is a lovely lady and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to miniatures.
Please find address details below or visit there web-site: http://www.museedelapoupeeparis.com/

For those who would like some photos try to find the book "Miniatures d'Art Les Maisons De Poupées d'Aujourd'hui" by Ingeborg Riesser, Massin Editeur. Her collection is superb. I will go and see the exhibition, when ... ? I will let you know about it.

I just saw this exhibit and it was wonderful. Many dollhouse shows are a disappointment, this one was everything I had hoped it would be--truly the highest quality miniatures around. The miniature needlework, the silver and the dolls stand out in my memory.
