If you are lucky enough to be in Paris between 29th Sept. 2009 & 7th Mar. 2010 I believe this would be an exhibition not to be missed. I have had the pleasure of meeting Mme. Riesser at her shop "Poupee Tendresse" in Paris, she is a lovely lady and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to miniatures.

How I wish I could go... too many places and so little time...not to say about money .....
Yes, I agree with you both, it is always the reason that stops us from doing what we want .."time & money"..perhaps some-one else can go and tell us all about it???

For those who would like some photos try to find the book "Miniatures d'Art Les Maisons De Poupées d'Aujourd'hui" by Ingeborg Riesser, Massin Editeur. Her collection is superb. I will go and see the exhibition, when ... ? I will let you know about it.
I would love to visit this exhibition ... knows how many wonderful things there are ...

.... in my blog's first award for you, catch me ??...
kisses, Caterina, Italy
I just saw this exhibit and it was wonderful. Many dollhouse shows are a disappointment, this one was everything I had hoped it would be--truly the highest quality miniatures around. The miniature needlework, the silver and the dolls stand out in my memory.
