"Joyeux Noel"

I'm trying to get into the Christmas Spirit....even if it is only in miniature!
I have been working...(slowly)...on the main room of the 'petite maison' to get it ready for the arrival of 'Father Christmas'. The stockings are hug.....

... a table is prepared with a 'treat' for Santa!.....I did make the poinsettia's after all and I have also made a lily....we call them a 'Christmas Lily' here in Australia....yep!....they flower at christmas time and are very popular in a lot of homes.

On the table for Santa is a lovely tray of 'ginger cookies' that I recently bought from Ana at "Tiny Delights"......they certainly add that festive touch....I love them!....Thank You Ana!!

....and then of course to follow the ginger cookies is a glass of wine...Yes!...this is certainly one of Hanneke's wonderful wine bottles...I love them also....!

I'm sure you all know Ana, but if you are unsure....you can visit her at:

Oh, I am more of a lurker on our blog but I thought I better tell you how much I enjoy - the first time I came for a visit I thought, "My life might not be complete until I build a petit maison like that!"
I was unaware that such a world existed. Thank you so much.

My french lady whispers in my ear; do you think she´s arranging a christmas party? And if so she would love to be invited and dress up real elegant to match the interior!!! LOL

Ehhhhh...small sigh...I wish my home were as beautiful as your petite maison. Jesus Child will not find such a beautiful setting here. I really love the serenity of your rooms, so restfull and peacefull. I wish I could snug on a sofa with a book, a glass of wine (to warm me up, it's chilly here) and daydream...
The hydrangea is gorgeous, I must go and buy some from Bonnie.Have a great day Rosanna
