My favorite flower....

To say that my favorite flower is a rose is a definate understatement! I think roses are so rewarding to grow, they are so elegant & of course the perfume is devine!!! I don't believe I have ever seen a rose that I disliked. So needless to say, the 'petite maison' must also have roses.
This is one.....(yes, unfortunately this is three different photos of the same rose).....this is one I started to make about a year ago, it would have to be THE most time consuming thing I have ever made!! But today has seen me cleaning out my work trays and I found my little rose and I started to take some photographs...(as one does)...& I thought you might like to see it. I wish I could make them as fast as what I can take the photos!!
I must add these are made from kits that I have had for many years!
See....now I have just said that the entrance hall is finished, but I am thinking a vase of pink roses on the table might look very nice.....?

Gorgeous! Wasn't sure whether it was a real one or not. Beautifully done. Do you remember who the kit was from?
I think you'll always tweak a room here and there, just as you do with your real house. Roses will be beautiful in this room (or any room for that matter!).

Beautiful rose Linda!
I agree with Josje, you will always see something you like to change, replace or add.... like in a 1:1 house.
I sure know I like to do that :

Bonjour de France !

I am not surprised that you did only one...
Putting one together so perfectly would have left anybody cross-eyed!
Ah, and then, .. roses.. what can we add?
A rose by any other name would still be a rose!

Hey Linda,
Your work was worthwhile itself.
This rose is beautyfull and need no adds, only a few roseleaves and a precious vase for solitaire flowers.
I wished I could work so beautiful roses as you.

Oh my goodness! This is the first time I have been to your blog and I thought no I really though "what beautiful roses" And then I read the blog... I would not have thought you could make flowers that look real out of paper. Great job!

What a beautiful rose you made.
A vase filled with roses will look nice in any room.
Or just this pretty one in a little vase on a breakfast tray...

Ciao, Helena

Roses are good everywhere !! I wish my bathrooms were big enough to have a little table with bunches of roses.
I definetely have to make a bunch of them...when you'll have time. Mini hugs Rosanna

Roses would be beautiful on the round table! I have them in two rooms and am planning to add some to my foyer.

Beautiful Linda. I love roses too but mini ones are a bear to make with all those little petals....and so many of them are needed.

I made the rose tree for Debie and that's me done with roses for a while.

Did you add thorns :-)
