...Ross is a very small, but a pretty town & every where you look there are these beautiful setting just waiting to be photographed...
...the lamp looked so pretty in the window with the lace curtain & ofcourse the roses and lavender complete the photo...
Ross is only a tiny town, but a very pretty place to visit. It is about one and a half hours from Hobart and with the highway diverted around the town we don't often call in, but it was lovely to stay for a few days and catch-up on what we have been missing.
I hope you enjoy seeing a very small part of where I live...Tasmania.
Enjoy x.

Such a sweet town LInda...I love seeing more of your Tassie, xv.
Nice pics Linda - they have an English look to them especially the second last one.
Thank you for showing us some photos of your country. It is absolutely gorgeous and looks so peaceful. It makes me think of England.

Dear Linda,
This is a charming place! Are you originally from Autralia, or are you an American transplant? It is lovely. Anit
What a lovely place, as Geneviève, it makes me think of England:-)
Happy valentines!
Emma
Linda is very nice town, congratulations. Best wishes
Looks lovely, and yes very England countryside!!!
Have a wonderful Valentine day Linda!
Hugs,
Synnøve :)
Such a lovely place. It does not look exotic, rather homey I dare say. If you did not tel it were Tasmania I'd guess it was Old Europe. I'm happy you had some time to relax Rosanna
Wonderful photos as usual Linda. Your back must be well mended given that the shot 'over the fence' must have required some sort of climbing or contortion to achieve it :) -- in fact I think a photograph of the photographer 'in action' for that shot would be a treasure in itself ;)
Tasmania is soooo much like England, I guess understandable due to all the English convicts being sent here....there are lots of pretty towns like this one.
Anit: I was born here in Tasmania (Australian)...not sure how you thought I was from America...but I have a huge love of Europe and I am always keen to return.
just love those pics Linda. It reminds me - a few years back I travelled around Tassie with my sister- she wrote in her dairy- "and we came upon Ross" what a sweet little town and well worth the detour for afternoon tea + a walk down to the lovely old bridge.

Hola, I gave a walk along his(its) blog and I am charmed with to myself, and though I have to be served a translator, and probably we understand each other not very well, I expect to be able to follow(continue) her(it) and to leave my commentaries.
Since I am a recent fan of the miniatures and I am charmed with his(its, her) small things.
Really Ross, has to be a charming site(place) and you descrive perfectly.

I've just discovered your exquisite website and wanted to say thank you so much for giving me so much delight today! I too am in Australia, and have had a lifetime obsession with miniatures and everything to do with Paris. I think it's amazing to find someone who is so similar in their passions. Congratulations on your stunning dolls house and thank you again!!! Bianca
I am thrilled Bianca that you enjoyed reading my blog, it is always nice to hear from those close to home!
....and those far away, thank you 'contar', so nice to recieve your comment.
....I am wondering where 'puddinglane' was a visitor from when they came to Tassy...?
Ah, those convicts did beautiful work didn't they, lol!
What a lovely town!
