Working to a deadline....

Yes.....I'm still here, just a bit busy! I've put a bit of pressure upon myself and I won't be happy until the 'petite maison' is finished...!

I feel like the 'Little Red Engine'.....I think I can....I think I can.........!!

Yes you can, of course you can, but don't kill yourself in the process!!

Haha, guess what my 'verification' word is - "later" - is the universe trying to tell you something Linda?? ;) *chuckle*

You will finish. You have done so much.Is it ever really finished anyway? I have so many things I need to finish so I shouldn't talk lol Hugs~ Kim

Norma...there has been too many 'laters', it's now time to finish...even if I do kill myself trying..(so to speak!)

But as Kim says...Is a house ever really finished?...I think not!

and Christine...I feel a bit that way myself, it will in some ways be sad when it is finished...but never fear....there will be another!

I understand what you mean, there is always a time when you need to put an end to something. When it's done there is a feeling of void, like when you finish a good book.
I deeply hope there will be more houses.

Hi Linda, surely you will finish the Petit Maison. But like every miniaturist there will always be a thing where you think this is a "MUST HAVE" to dot on the i .That's why every scene which we make is a never ending story and this why we all enjoy our hobby so much.By the way ,your next thing will also be such a great object!!! Hugs,Jeannette

Linda is never finished, there's always something to add, change, to improve ... and when it finished Petit Maison, there will be another magnificent work .... Do not turn your enthusiasm, you even begin to think about new projects, otherwise I will here what step to do?? sad is the day that most will not read your posts, but this will be when you grow old and decrepit, and your mind will not be able to give birth to ideas, your eyes can not distinguish a match from an elephant, and your hands will be trembling that they can not retain small items ... But this will happen one day very very very very very very very very far away, when you have 120 years! ah ah!!....
Now enough with the melancholy, you get to work, I'll wait!
many kisses, Caterina

I know you can...I know you can... But why? Is there a deadline? And I am thinking the same as the others, what then? How about 'Une petite village'? (That will keep us happy, haha!)

Linda Carswell said...

I'm sure there will be another, but no, not a village....abit like children, two will be plenty and I look forward to the birth of the second house....but all in good time! I'm so thrilled that any of you would like to see another 'petite maison'...?????

These things it is necessary to do them, as the inspiration comes, I believe(create) that not deve to be forced.
I have with my little house mas of one year and even I do not think to stop her(it), because me it like to enjoy every moment, today I put a furniture that I itself, I did, tomorrow a basket that he(she,I) buys(buy), spent(passed, past) something that I like to myself in some shop, and this way little by little, it is not important for me what is late.
The important thing is to enjoy the interest.
An embrace.

I must also confess that I never get finish, and when I do it is either out of fashion or I have changed my taste. Though your petit mansion is something that will never go out of style. You have made is so classical and beautiful that it will last forever. Yes we all hope there will be more from you:) I just spoke for all of us here;)

Makes me feel even guiltier for not finishing Joanna's house. I stopped at the wiring and have to make myself do that part! What will you work on after it's finished?! I'm sure you will have another beautiful project to start!

Linda, I can't wait to see it when you "finish" it. I know that things will be added as time goes on. We all do it, but it is fun to see it in a completed state and go onto something else. Go for it! We will all be watching. It is already beautiful.
