are hand made by the fabulous 'Sandi Quance' from Canada.
Sandi's work is out-standing, the detail is perfect.....if you can't tell, all the fronts of the cushions are worked in the finest 'petit point'....take a look at the photo below to see more detail.....you should be able to 'click' the image to enlarge it.
To add to the perfection of these items, Sandi actually filled them with feathers.....yes! actually cut up feathers to 'stuff' the cushions.
And if Sandi hasn't spoilt me enough.....there are another two that she is currently working on for me!
....I know!....the day couldn't possibly get any better....!
Thank you Sandi...you know how much I love them! Linda x

Beyond believe!!!!! Beats everything I have seen!!!!
Her technique are brilliant, she gets that "a little bit faded" antique look that some of us yearn for!!!!

Realmente son toda una joya, y el complemento perfecto para su sillon.

Oh my gosh, my eyes hurt just looking at them - they are absolutely beautiful, but I can't imagine how difficult that tiny stitchwork must be.

Ooooh those are gorgeous. I love the subtle colors she uses in her work. Are they also worked on 60 count silk gauze, like the tea cozy? Did she make the cord that go around the cushions? Just beautiful!!!
I'm not to sure what count fabric is used to make these, what I can tell you is that when you look at them you really can't see the individual stitches, I had to photograph them and enlarge the image to see the beautiful stitch work. Sandi have done an amazing job with these and I can't stop looking at them.... Yes, Sandi does make the cording around the edge, it is all so fine and perfect.
Beautiful treasures Linda!

The cushions are so beautiful embroidered

THe perfect finishing touch!

Wow, fancy cutting up features for their stuffing. They are so beautifully made.
I sometimes stuff cushions with poppy seeds, as this allows them to sag a little as if someone had just been snuggling into them. Yours need to sit up in a tidy way - they look lovely and smart on the chair.
There is an award for you on my blog ;-)
Good grief, those are stunning! And stuffed with real feathers??!
Wow!
Wow, they are just beautiful Linda! She is very talented, and they will fit perfectly in your maison.
Unbelievable! Amazing work! Even with feathers as filling... And soooo beautiful... Just PERFECT.
Congratulation to you and Sandi, of course.
I love the cushions and I admit to envy you a little bit ;-) I wonder what kind of yarn she used, because it looks a little woollen to me, and not with the slight of glossyness of ordniary embroidery yarn. But can you get wollen yarn so very thin? Wonderful colors I agree!
What a perfect finishing touch, they are outstanding!!!
Such amazing work, the detail is absolutely incredible. Here's to more happy days!
Just divine, and so perfect for Petite Maison :)
