All work and no play....

....makes Linda a very dull girl!
So I have been making more aubusson rugs! I have acquired some very pleasing new designs and was thrilled with how they printed out. I'm happy to add that a couple of these rugs are soon to find new homes on the other side of the world. Through blogging I have found many wonderful people happy to share their work with me and I am only too happy to be able to repay their kindness.
...just have to find time to now make it to the post office...lol!!!
"news alert".....one week until Mercedes comes to visit, I'm so excited!

Dear Linda the rugs are lovely as anything you do but wait till you meet Mercedes. I know it will be a great experience. Anytime I met another mini friend it has been wonderful; there is special bond between people who share a common interest. I realized that apart from mini we are alike in many ways. As if minis were part of a bigger lot in our personality and this matches nicely with each others. I hope I explained myself...sounds tricky....
I'm sure you'd love the reel holder, you'll see it in Autumn. I'm so happy about it. Have a nice evening, Rosanna

Those rugs are just BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the soft colors and the designs. What a great statement addition to any miniature room. As we have seen in all the photos of La Petite Maison. :-)
Have you ever thought about opening up your own ETSY shop? I would be your first customer.
How exciting! Not many more sleeps until Mercedes visit. I know you will both have a great time.

Linda, I love your rugs. The colours are so muted and soft. May I ask what type of paper you are printing the rugs on?

Linda, I join the others--you could sell your rugs. They are beautiful, as I can personally attest since there is one in my Christmas roombox and I admire it every day.

You could never be dull Linda. Beautiful rugs. Lucky you getting to visit with Mercedes. I have been lucky to have phone conversations with her but in person.:)
You girls will have a wonderful time. I made some rugs year ago and a printed them on felt paper. Is that what you do? Big hugs~ Kim

Thank you for your lovely comments!
I only have one problem with selling the rugs, it is at what price to sell them for! As you all possibly know, the ink cartridges are sooooo expensive!!??

Note to Wanda: Hi Wanda, these rugs are actually printed onto fabric....'click' and enlarge and you will see the texture.
