It's all in the detail....pt.1.

My love for Paris isn't just defined by food, flowers and the fabulous shops, but more by the wonderful 'detail' that's graces many, many buildings. In most cases it is a sight to behold, an imaged etched into your memory that at times a camera is so unnecessary....but of course I still took the shot!
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
"I adore Paris"
I don't know whether some of you may have been wondering where I have been.....it is a little longer between posts than normal.....Unfortunately I haven't been too well, but I hope to get back to my blog and my miniatures very soon! But saying that, I have been working on one of Pascale Garnier's flower kits......the "Marguerite d'Anvers". Pascale's kits are full of detail (& delight) and I am working away slowly to give these kits the respect that they deserve. I hope I have something to show you very soon.

Sorry to hear you have been unwell Linda - I hope you recover quickly. Thank-you for sharing your gorgeous photographs - I could look at them for ever! I'm in love with the one of the urn - so much colour and detail in it - wouldn't it look magnificent in miniature?

Although we adore Paris, many Italians love it, is a favorite holiday of the Italians.
Tourists are able to capture attention for details that sometimes elude many.
Your photos are very beautiful, make us share the enthusiasm you have for this beautiful city.
Pascale flowers are wonderful, and we are certain that if you could turn them into masterpieces.
Try to get well soon!

I was very, very worried about you, Linda. I was hoping that you were not a victim of the flood in Australia. I'm so happy that you're safe and sound at home even though you're under the weather. As for the photos, I'll never forget the one with the armour. It's incredible! What imagination! I'm looking forward to seeing your next creation. Take care!
