Exquisite....

About a month ago I received a beautiful email from Sharon de Vries.....thanking me for my generosity in terms of the miniatures I blog and the photos I have taken in Europe...
Sharon writes..."For all the pleasure you give me I would like to send a gift in return".
Just look at the beautiful gift I received yesterday!!! I am sure you will agree that Sharon's work is beyond amazing, it is so very very fine and so very delicate....an absolute delight to own!!
I know you will want to know, but sadly Sharon doesn't have a blog or a web-site....she is busily working on items for her "Fellow" for the IGMA, after which she has promised to teach herself to blog....that is good news for us all!!
I am never sure if photos ever do true justice to miniatures such as these, but please believe me when I say they are exquisite!!
I thank you with all my heart Sharon, I am so thrilled to own such wonderful items. I wish you well with your 'IGMA Fellow' and look forward to the start of what I am certain shall be a fabulous new blog.
Thank You!!
p.s....I have permission to pass Sharon's email address on, so please contact me if you would like to get in touch with Sharon.

They are beyond beautiful! Surely her Fellowship application will be successful. And hopefully we'll see her in Blogland soon!

Sharon is one of the worlds best miniature knitting designers. You are lucky to have some of her exquisite work, from her own hands! Please pass on my best wishes for her IGMA Artisan Fellowship, though her work will speak for her.

A miniaturist after my own heart! How precious and fragile are these charming pieces ... like knitting with spider silk for a faery's babe. And, love that she has chosen to do them in white. Without doubt, this lovely woman will win her fellowship with flying colours.
