I first saw these 'thumbelina' carrots (real-size) at a market in Paris and I thought how wonderful they were. As I always say....what ever you can find in the 'real world' you can find in the 'miniature world', but imagine my amazement when I found these. These are made by the very talented Vicky Guile (www.njdminiatures.com). I adore the detail.....just a hint of soil still remaining.....tres chic!!! I think these will work in perfectly with the items I am currently collecting. My next challenge is to see if I can grow these little darlings in containers on my balcony...wish me luck...lol!
It has been several weeks since I last did a post, the days just seem to fly past, I know it is the same for us all! But I would like to say Thank You to Sharon who emailed to see if every thing was okay....I thank you for your concern....x

I just love those round carrots. Though I have never seen the 'real' ones I imagine they are about the size of a radish.
I just read about them in Google and it said they are perfect for container gardening. So I bet yours do very well. I hope you will take some pictures once they get going.

Dear Linda, I was going to write that in the summer time flies by without realizing it, when I remembered that you're in the middle of winter ... magic of the internet :-)
I received the kit of the new (and perhaps, final) doll's house, which now lies abandoned on the balcony, waiting for better times: a pile of MDF compared to which your baby carrots make me a great tenderness :-)
The new projects take shape in a mysterious way ...
Mini lovely hugs, Flora
