ham, cheese & tomatoe on white....

....this is my latest little purchase, (I know, I know.....get building, not buying...lol!)....but I just couldn't resist. As you can see the detail is perfect, as is the scale......Look at the detail of the tomatoes, the delicate sheen on the ham and all those lovely little crumbs from the hand cut bread....very exciting....lol!!!!

The artist who made this is new to me (perhaps not to you...?), it is the first piece I have bought from her, but I am certain it will not be the last. A very big 'thank you' to Miniature Food Artist Amanda Speakman. Amanda has an on-line site to buy from, so please pay her a visit and enjoy!! http://www.amanspeakminiatures.com/

This is just fabulous - I'm so impressed I went and looked at her website before coming back to comment. I'll definately be back to her site to go through it carefully, there is so much to see there! Her prices are very reasonable too, definately affordable detail for a mini kitchen. Thanks for showing this Linda - and I'm sure you're quietly building away behind the scenes ;)

Like Norma, I too had to go and check out this artisan and will certainly return to order some breakfast items. The detail on your board Linda is amazing - bread crumbs, sliced tiny tims... It looks like a picture of the real thing not a mini. Thanks for sharing this website on your blog.

Amanda makes great food. Two weeks ago I bought quite a lot of things from her. Not only does the bread look so real but the Burger and fries and the butter and the egg .... I should post a picture of the things I bought from her on my blog as well.

I agree this looks so real, the bread texture and the finely sliced ham. It is so nice to have a recommendation before buying from someone new ... I think your post may bring her lots of custom :-)

This looks great! I love the bread cumbs, too.

I've been a very bad blog reader as of late, hopefully, I will be better this year, I didn't realise just how long it has been since I read one of your posts. :(

I have never seen such perfect tomato slices in fimo. And the whole tomatoes have a shine to them just like real life. The whole of the ensemble looks so real that it's almost surreal! That ham looks delicious and the cheese. Now I'm hungry but it's too late. So, I'll have to satisfy myself with toast only. This is a fantastic acquisition, Linda, you lucky girl!

My favorite sandwich ... practically live off these when in Ireland, as there's hardly a comparison to Irish ham, and this board has done it up to perfection ... I can hear my stomach saying a prayer, just from the look of it all ... !
