No....it's not my lunch

But I hasten to add that I wouldn't mind if it was! This is once again the fabulous work of Amanda Speakman. I am having such a love affair with Amanda's work at present, the salad sandwich is gorgeous, the lettuce looks so fresh (& real) and the orange drink........well, let me just say that it would really hit the spot at the moment if only it was real.....(we have waited long enough & now finally we are enjoying some summer weather). Look for the link to Amanda's Etsy shop on my previous post.....because I'm off to make lunch!!

Looks like the perfect sandwich. I have taken a virtual bite and I am enjoying it vicariously. As for that orange drink, just by looking at it, I can taste its cool flavour. This woman is so talented! I have looked at her website and I plan to eventually get some of her family meal plates.

That is so real looking no one would ever know it was 1: 12 sandwich just by looking at these photos. It's perfect! She even captured the irregularities pf the crust texture. Congratulations on another great miniature.

Greetings Linda, Nice to see your post - some people can do things so well. A great talent! Enjoying the Au. Tennis Open - on TV here in Canada.
Really enjoying getting back to miniatures as the weather is cold, dark and VERY windy for the past few days. However it is getting lighter earlier each week so I look forward to being out in the garden soon. The seed catalogues have arrived!

I too discovered Amanda last summer and she made me a (1911) cold supper (and a prawn salad for my modern house) to order (in a matter of days. They were absolutely PERFECT. I was lucky enough to meet her at a show when I collected my things from her. [If you want to see them go to my blog
http://wentworthcourt.blogspot.com] Her work is truly wonderful and not at outrageous prices.
