Beyond belief....

I have long admired the beautiful work of Monica Roberts. Those of you that know Monica's blog "Hither Tither & Yon" will know exactly what I am speaking of......her beautiful work is beyond belief!!! I contacted Monica in reference to a lovely little straw boater that I so admired on her blog......to my absolute delight Monica made me two of the 'most' gorgeous little hats AND I also received the French school smock....can you possibly imagine my delight upon opening the exquisitely wrapped boxes.....yes, boxes (plural)!!!! I am yet to photograph the other items I received, they are also mind blowing.....but be assured that once I have taken some photos, you will be the first to see them.

Dearest Monica, I sincerely thank you with all my heart, these are simply exquisite and I feel very honored to own such items! Linda x

(....I am sure you will ask, the top photo was taken by Monica, so that adorable chest is part of her collection....)

Wonderful pieces! I especially adore the little hat with the cherries!
I am a follower of Monica's blog, but wasn't aware she makes miniatures clothing and hats. I can't seem to find it on her blog, am I missing something?

Dear Linda ... I am so overwhelmed by your words of praise, and the response of your followers, that I hardly know what to say, except thank you so very much, for posting my work on your beautiful blog. I feel especially honoured to have been included amongst all the wonderful artisan you so graciously give credit to, and for the inspiration you all have given me to begin working on my miniatures again. Time has slipped by whilst caring for my father, but lately I've found a renewed interest and the enegry to re-connect with my lifetime love of miniatures ... thanks to all the incredible work being done today, and to the generosity of people like you who work hard to make this art available to those who would otherwise never know our little world even exists.
