How does one choose....?

How is it possible to choose between such delights as these on a daily basis....to constantly have to pass shops selling these temptations.....which one would or could you be able to resist......the petite cakes that are a work of art in themselves, or the absolutely gorgeous flowers??? Today I didn't have to resist, as today I bought both home.....No (lol!!!), it's not what your thinking....I bought them home via my camera!!!

I would have had to have the flowers. I can resist the pastries. I don't really like sweets anyway. ;-)

Oh heck, do we really have to choose. I can't think of anything nicer than BOTH - but the dilemma would remain as to just which sweet treat... I don't think I'd be too good at passing these by, after a few weeks in Paris I'd probably return home the size of a large elephant :)

I enlarged the photo to get a better look and my choice is the mille feuilles with the strawberry half on top. That along with a delicious cup of tea would be delightful. Never mind the calories. Once in a while!

Thanks for sharing, i am decorating a large dollshouse with two shops...a flower shop and a backery. This is so inspirational!

Why choose? Have both! Those chocolate slices look far too good to resist (though they probably have about a million calories!) and peonies are one of my favourite flowers so I can never resist having a vase full on my table when they're in season. Judith x

Life is too short to have to forego such delights. My advice would be - don't choose, take what you want and can afford. As usual fab photos Linda. Hope you are thoroughly enjoying Paris!! Best wishes, Carol :D

That would be so hard to resist. Love all those flowers and I have such a sweet tooth. You sound like you have more restraint than me. Fiona

Well, if you just happen to be traipsing by Boulangerie Julien in the 6th you can send home a picture of a 'tarte de rhubarbe' and that will be completely satisfying ... mind you that's not entirely true ... as a 'taste' of such lies balancing on the borderline between heavenly and divine. Looks as if you're completely enjoying yourself as usual. The photos are wonderful to see, so keep them coming ... and don't miss at least one day of delightful digging at Sᵗ Ouen.
