Thank you Didier....

Once again I return to Paris, if only in my heart. I was so exciting to receive this photo unexpectedly last night that I just had to share it with you. This gorgeous photo was sent to me of the coffee shop where we went each and every morning. With the snow falling in Paris it has turned this charming little shop into a Winter wonderland. Didier sent me this photo from his iPhone, "who is Didier" I hear you ask.....he is the man who would make our morning coffee, serve us our afternoon drinks and who we chattered to each day and who became one of our lovely memories of a fabulous time in Paris
Thank you Didier.....to see photos such as this makes my heart beat a little faster and the longing to returns becomes a little greater.

I have been wondering how much snow they got in Paris. Thank you for this photo Linda.

And thank you Didier. How I wish I could have a nice hot cup of tea in that lovely shop!

I shall meet you there Catherine, what I love most about these little shops is that they are not concerned if you sit there all day....I can imagine our conversation....lol! x

Doesn't it look just so delightful I didn't get snow when I was in Paris in the dead of winter in the 70s#!*

I too would like to walk across that snow into that cafe for coffee-no matter what one's financial circumstances, there is something compelling and evergreen about sitting at a table in a cafe - they provide pleasure, comfort, and fortitude to face the day - a holiday day hopefully lol very nice of Didier to send the photo to one of his favourite customers no doubt! X

Didier is a darling and I,too, remember well the place which looks lovely even in winter: very cozy and welcoming.
Most probably I shall be in Paris next March (if I shall be not going again skiing) for a short holiday.
You know....;o))
Hugs,Rosanna

How nice of Didier to send you this photo but I'm not surprised you too are such wonderful people.
It was the same in Orléans on Sunday, 10cms of snow. Today (Tuesday) there are still some patches of snow on roofs and in gardens.
