My heart remains in Paris....

I think I drive my family mad on a daily basis with my talk of returning to Paris. I am constantly looking at my photos which I took on previous trips........but I do not know if they are a source of comfort or annoyance. Which ever way they might be for me, I hope you enjoy what I selected for you today.

Small progress is being made on my miniature 'florist / holiday accommodation'!!.....(wow, how's that for a hint...lol!!!).  I have acquired a huge bundle of 'strip wood'.....so no more excuses!!!

A huge thank you to those you left such lovely comments for my daughter and new son-in-law, be assured they have all been passed onto them.

Hello Linda,
Such beautiful pictures from Paris! You have that specific skill to make ordinary things look beautiful. Probably because they are beautiful but Parisians see them everyday and forget how artistic they are.
Thanks for sharing,
Patrick

Hi Linda! Perhaps Paris is your spiritual home. That is why you long to return. Some people are just born in the wrong part of the world and are the eternal traveler until they find the place where they were meant to be. Maybe you are one of those people? The photos are exceptional! With all of the ones that you have throughout your blogs have you ever thought of compiling them into a book format and publishing it? Just a thought

I too long for Paris so your photographs were lovely to see. We have booked an apartment in Versailles for four nights in the summer, I am so excited! I went to Paris for the first time last year for a wedding and fell in love with the city x

I love that blue door set against the grey wall and also that oval window. I know there's a name for windows like that one but I can't remember what it is. I never tire of seeing your photos. I especially love the Christmas photos you took of department store windows. I think that was on your first trip if I remember correctly. I sometimes go back and revisit them.

It's always a pleasure to see your photos of Paris. Seeing them just shows how you love Paris.
Have you decided of a name for your miniature project? I can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

Hi , I just found your link on another blog , obviously about Paris :-) It was about Haven in Paris and their beautiful apartments ..

I drive my family crazy going on about Paris ,, I have books , Angels , photos etc ,, and the Eiffel Tower in my living room , not a huge one , but big enough , and my grandkids love it . I am lucky enough to live in the UK , so does not take long to get there , but NOT lucky enough to have pots of money to go when I feel like a bit of the Parisien life ,, hope you get there soon , Anne

Congratulations for all those marvellous photos of Paris. I have been living in Paris for a few years and I think you know it even better than I do. I agree, it's a marvellous citu, I'll visit Les Buttes Chaumont soon. I live near Montmartre and you can see the Marché de La Butte (from the film Amelie Poulain)on my blog.
