I love this photo....

I love this photo, but I'm sad to say it is not one of mine....so I feel as though I can say "I love it".....(I always find it hard to praise my own photos)....I'm sorry but I have no idea who it belongs to....oops!
I often look at this photo and think what a fabulous place to own / to holiday / to escape to, or a sweet little (well, not that little) place to simply live!!!! I also day dreamed about how wonderful it would be to find this gorgeous place and photograph it myself!! Well.....a few days ago, I was sorting my own photos on my computer (holiday pics of 2006) and "voila"....look what I found (below).....I have actually been there!!!! (silly me.....!!!!)
If memory serves me correctly, I believe it to be St Remy de Provence, a totally gorgeous part of the world. I think this shows exactly how important it is to take many, many photos when on holidays....it is simply impossible to remember all of these extraordinary places. Provence is not on the 'list' for this holiday, but I know I shall return there again one day....??

Greetings Linda, Very interesting how the photo has been enhanced. I wonder if the colour saturation was applied to the shutter and the car? It also shows that what appeals continues to do so, in that, you took the photo as well.
Settling back to daily life in British Columbia . In need of some encouragement and inspiration so tomorrow will spend the day with friends Fatima and Elizabeth of StudioE.
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your treasure of a Grandson. How easy it is to love them
Regards Janine

It doesn't surprise me that you had a picture of it. lol You have gone over France with a fine tooth comb. Luckily for me, being the arm chair traveler that I am. :-))

I agree with you it is a wonderful photo with all the details and the wonderful contrast of neutrals with the red and blue. How wonderful to find that you have been there and have a photo you have taken yourself.

Beautiful pictures; a very "southern France" (Provence-like)atmosphere. Thanks for sharing!

That's a great story! I see why you were so drawn to that particular place.

Wow! How spooky to think it was already there in you subconscious ! And I think I preference your picture anyway, I love the faded colours of the paintwork.
Imagine how many more pictures you might have like this.
Best wishes
Si

Believe it or not when I was in St Rémy de Provence I took the same photo. I've just sent you an email.

Thankfully there are people like you who snap lots of pics and share them with us.
I seldom take any picture because they never satisfy me when I look at them at home...
Actually I am back home from Calabria where I spent a whole week and didn't taKe ONE single photo.
How bad of me?
BTW are you coming? truly truly? cannot wait for you to be in Europe. We'll meet, no matter how far I shall have to travel!
hugs to you all, Rosanna

C'est vraiment une histoire aussi étrange qu'extraordinaire! Voilà qui donne envie d'aller faire un petit tour par là-bas!
