....yes, I am 'back tracking' just a little bit. We had a lovely couple of days in London before heading to Paris. We stayed just around the corner from Oxford Street....yes, we had a wonder down Oxford Street, but I much prefer to keep away from the larger department stores etc, so we headed to Portobello Road....must more my speed...lol! I love the quaint shops, so pretty!

I am like you I prefer small shops, however when in London with the students Oxford Street was like heaven for them.

I was there 3 years ago with my daughters and we just loved it. Found some very nice things there. Hope to go again someday.
