Hi Linda,
That is indeed a beautiful part of Paris. When we were last there we stayed in a lovely apartment building right next to Notre Dame in Pont d'Arcole. It was a wonderful place to stay right in the centre of Paris, the bells of Notre Dame added so much to the atmosphere. You would have loved the apartment, so beautifully decorated with the most glorious iron work on the balustrade, I painted it many times......ahhh Linda, you will have me booking a ticket very soon!
