1:12 scale 'tatted' doilies....

....this is the amazing work of Beverly Miles from www.miniatureneedlework.com. I contacted Bev recently to ask her to make me 2 'tatted' doilies....(one for me & one for a friend). I was very excited when they arrived in the mail recently....the detail is wonderful!!! Once again I am amazed how some people can work in such a 'fine' thread & scale to achieve such a beautiful result.
The third photo shows the doilie with a piece of Margaret Crosswell's beautiful work, plus I included the first photo to show both items compared in size with a 1/4" paint brush.
Thank you so much Bev....your work is beautiful!!!
No....I didn't say who I was sending the other one to, did I...?

I've been to visit Margaret....

I've been to visit Margaret Crosswell, who is the artist making these beautiful pieces!!! Margaret is preparing for the "Sydney Miniature Fair".....so that is always a good time to visit as she has a large selection to choose from. As you can tell by my selection I was not disappointed by what was on offer!!! I love the little rose covered vases, they would have to be my favorite!!! New for me to see where the wonderful little tea pots, I couldn't choose between the two you can see in the photo, so I decided to buy both.....and the little cheese cover....'is just to die for'!!!

With Margaret's permission I have bought a few extra of the rose covered vases/urns that I can re-sell!!! Please note at this time I have only 6 pieces for sale!!!

Please note: Margaret only sells at shows, she does not have a web-site or email!
