Hortensias....

...or if you are like me...Hydrangeas! I have finally made my hydrangea kit...and when I say finally I mean I have had them for quite some time. I bought them at SIMP in 2008 and while I have looked at them alot and wanted to get-in and make them, it was the fact that the instructions were in French that was my biggest 'stumbling block'. Well, mr babelfish and I have now translated them and the results are as you can see above. I am pleased with the final result, but not so pleased with the vase, (it was all I had) but that can come later.
I know I have shown the lovely wine bottles made by Hanneke, but I have a new addition to the collection....a lovely jar of "Bon Maman"....I'm so thrilled with it!
The same vase of flowers...just in a different setting, I have popped them on the kitchen table, (you can see the lovely scones made by Kim Saulter in the back ground) I think the colours work well in the kitchen, but their final home will be the 'grande salon'....may-be...?

...Thank you! But really I tell you what the most time consuming part was....the translating from French to English...I know a little French, but didn't trust myself without Mr Babelfish!!
