I always wonder who or what is behind them ..... is it 'faded grandure', antique, modern, old or new!! Are they young, or not so young, rich or poor?? Is it a family or some-one left behind?....(or perhaps not yet found). do they have a story to tell? .... who tends to the plants? ....who tends to them? See,.... so many questions and no answers!!
I'm sure you will also agree that they are wonderful...my family just 'sigh' when they see another 'window' photo....... I love 'doors' too....but that's another story!!

I do love windows. I love to look through lighted windows at winter time and try to catch a glimpse of the life inside. Is it voieuristic? No, I do not think so because I do not have evil intention ,I simply try to imagine what people's life can be. Same as you I suppose. Hugs
I love windows too! You said it so well... wondering what and who lives behind them is always so fun for me. Especially as you, in Paris!

I think all miniaturists have a little voyeuristic streak in them, no evil intentions of course Rosanna! ;-)
Very pretty windows! Especially with the geraniums.
I am a door lover, always take photographs of doors when on vacation...

Great photos of beautiful windows! I love them too. One night while eating dinner near the window, we were treated to a couple who just arrived at their apartment across the street. We saw the lights come on, some beautiful walls, ceilings, etc. I admit, I stared the entire time. It was a beautiful glimpse into a Paris apartment.
Just found your blog and I am so glad I did....its just lovely!!! Be back often, all the best Chrissy
Bonsoir, je vois que nous avons la même manie de photographier les fenêtres! Si tu passes Place Vendôme à Paris , regardes les derniers étages , il y a de quoi prendre de belles photos.
These pictures are beautiful. I love all the flowers too, so colorful.
I also love windows I love the glimpse of someone else's life that you catch as you drift by,a glimpse that leaves you wondering what wonderful tales they have to tell. I also love doorways and gates and have many a picture of doors and gates that people roll there eyes at and say not another door, window, gate. These photos are very charming they drag you into them. Also I love your blog, I just stumbled across it today while having a quiet afternoon of blog hopping thankyou for an enchanting feast of photos and text.
