Early Sunday morning....

It's early Sunday morning....I love being up before any-one else....and I thought I'd show you the Geranium I made through the week. This weeks job is to ...sand, paint, then sand again ...about 380 floor tiles, which you can imagine is a little boring to say the least. So every now and again I have a 'play' with something else....the Geraniums! They are sharing table space with beautiful miniature muffins made by 'Christel Jensen' and a lovely packet of biscuits from 'Paris Miniatures'.

I've added a few items to my little food cupboard in the kitchen, my much loved wine bottle from 'Hanneke', all the way from Holland and one of my little letters I made a few weeks ago. (..this one must be mail from my New York trip!..) You can also see one of my favorite pieces, a tiny little 'cork screw' I bought at SIMP 2008.

I was sitting having my morning coffee....yes, in front of the Petite Maison....when the sun came through the windows, when this happens it seems to make the little house really come to life. I love the way it is shining through the little wall sconce in the entrance hall...

....beautiful morning light into the main bedroom.
For all of you that emailed me wanting to know about 'Small Pleasures Kits'...I hope to have some (hopefully 'good') news for you next week!!!
So now I think I can safely say I have used up enough time and must (should) get back to my floor tiles.....unless I can find something else to do to keep me 'away' from them....!!??

Hi Linda:)
I must admit that I got really exited when my muffins popped up on the screen:) Lovely plant and you are such a good photographer. The lighting is just perfect. Thanks my friend for showing my baked goods on your beautiful blog. I am truly honored:)

I totally agree with you about the sunshine making it come to life - what a stroke of luck. It looks wonderful anyway, but you almost get the feeling that the occupants have just left the room to fetch something and will be back in a minute to enjoy the contents of the letter and the food (with a glass of wine!) on a bright day.
