Situated at 2,Rue de Commaille is this lovely apartment building in Paris. It over looks a pretty little park where we would often have a 'pique-nique' lunch. As it is very near to 'Le Bon Marche' we would seldom find our selves there. I love this building for its simple, but stunning design and architecture, the wonderful balconies, the corbels, the lamps at the windows....but also I loved to watch the little bit of every-day life....like the man who lived there would walk his cat across the road to the park so it could spend the afternoon lazing in the sun.Such simple pleasures and beautiful memories of such an amazing city....my photos fuel my love for Paris....waiting to return in 2010....?!!
It is photos such as these that are the inspiration for my next 'petite maison'.....the ideas are flowing!!!
I must add that this is my 100th post....I would never have thought I had it in me...but there you go! But more importantly today is my baby girls 26th birthday...."Happy Birthday Natalie x".

What lovely photos. The way you describe this area makes me want to seek it out next time I get to see Paris. I'm hoping for 2010 too!
Bonjour! Congratulations on your 100th post. The buildings in Paris are very beautiful and I choose favorites too! I like to grab something delicious at the L'Epicerie at Le Bon Marché and relax in the park out front too!
