Exquisite....

Once again I have been so fortunate as to recieve in the mail, these "exquisite" petit point cushions....from my dear friend Sandi Quance of Canada. They are an absolute joy, so beautiful!!! (I am ashamed to say that my photography does not do them justice.)
The workmanship, colours, detail & finishing is to the highest standard. I am honoured to own such beautiful pieces.
Thank you Sandi....much love, Linda x

Those cushions are just marvelous, I could never do such fine work! and the background is very enticing I don't mind saying - my guess is Linda saw them on a trip to Paris, and the question is, were they packed with chocolates!TerryX

those are gorgeous!! You are so lucky to have recieved them.

...a few questions regarding the background used behind the cushions.
It is in actual fact a greeting card, it is purchased flat and the recipient can then make it into this 3D model. Terry you are correct, it is from Paris....but sadly there were no chocolates involved...lol! I bought this back in about 2004, they are still available and there are many designs available, all Paris orientated. It's a litte faded, but still pretty....might be time for a new one!

Linda, the pillows are wonderful: the pictures give an idea how! I'd love to have something so precious ...
As usual, your house is distinguished elegance, an example for all.

The cushions are really stunning, I love the colours.
I was about to ask you about the background, but I saw the answer in your commentary. I thought it was the 3D cards, they are perfect as a background. By the way I bought these cards in Greece a long time ago with Greek houses.

I cannot find those 3-D cards anymore. :-( I wish I had written down the maker that is on the back of the card. I had the one Linda is using in the background and one of Giverny. Does anyone know? I might be able to order them online.

Sweet Linda, I knew this tea-pot was "right up your alley"!!! I was visiting the nice web-shop of Weronica looking for a writing desk, and could not believe my luck to stumble upon this little treasure...had to have it!!! Like me, I think you have a thing for tea and coffee-pots?
Have a fantastic day:)
