The lights are on....but no-one's home!

...did I ever show you evening photos of the 'petite maison'? I found these this morning, you may notice in these shots that the house isn't 100% finished, but I thought you might like to see them just the same... (there are countless bulbs and metres upon metres of wiring)...
I am still working on plans...(mostly in my head)...for my next project, but life is busy at present as we are building a 'real-life' house which also occupies a lot of time and thought.
I am still eagerly waiting the arrival of my copy of the 'Miniaturas' magazine....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I too prefer that 'the people' are out and the lights are on. House looks great, Linda.

It looks beautiful all lit up, you almost expect someone to walk into the rooms. Thanks for showing it to us. Will your real house resemble this one?

Oh wow, building a real house too, how exciting! I can imagine the time (and stress) that takes from you, but it's worth it.
The house looks beautiful lit up. I may have asked this before but can't remember, the front of the house comes off, right? I thought it was open at the back like American houses, but looking at the windows I realized that can't be the case.

I adore the effect of the lights in dollhouses, and they add realism to the great work you have done.
They are the PERFECT finishing touch...!!

Linda, it is beautiful. The more you look the more you see. I hope alls going well with your real life build.
Maybe you could build another House, but in each room have a very Posh shop. One filled with beautiful Lingerie, one with a Patisserie, another with Shabby Chic accessories.
Just a thought..xxx
