Place Dauphine....

....the guide book tells me that Place Dauphine was laid out in 1607 by Henri IV & named after the Dauphin, the future Louis XII & is popular with petanque (boules) players.
What the guide book didn't say, is that when you enter this little square (place) you feel as though you have been transported back in is such a magical part of Paris!!
I'm loving the cooler weather, it is keeping all the tourist away....(which make it so much easier to take photos) was lovely, no rain but there was a very cool breeze!!
Do you like the cat I found peaking out the window at Place Dauphine....I love his little whiskers, he has so much character....tres cute!!

Beautiful pictures, Linda. I'm enjoying your holiday with you! How did you manage to find the place so empty?

Luckily this time of the year there doesn't seen to be too many tourists for the locals, well they probably had more common sence than to come out in the!
So pleased you are enjoying my photos....I'm having a fabulous time!!

I love that there are no cars around that triangle!

Your photos are absolutely amazing - your blog is the prettiest one I've seen - and I'm not particularly a francophile!

Thank you!
