Bergerac....

....during our recent trip to France we came across the fabulous town of Bergerac. It had so much character....I loved it all! But what I also loved was the fact that the town square was packed full with a market....it was a freezing cold day, but that didn't stop me from having a good look about. I came across these amazing little carts....so cute. I love the faded blue paint work of the push chair....I knew I couldn't take them home....but I knew I had to have a photo.......'sigh'
I did buy some monogrammed linen napkins....they fit in the suitcase a lot easier....lol!

I love the old French carts too, the blue one is very interesting. I've got the dimensions somewhere to have a go at making one of the plainer ones 'one of these days' ;)

How charming!!! I have never seen one of those before. It would make a fabulous miniature and wouldn't it be perfect brimmming over with flowers in pots.

Linda it must have been so difficult knowing you couldn't bring one home. I don't think it would be so hard to make one, must check out the one in you maison.

When looking at the carts I can't help but imagine the little children and/or market items that had been in them many years ago. Great images.
