Once your bitten....

.....yes, once your bitten by the 'travel bug' it is very hard to settle....very hard not to plan that next trip, very hard not to be envious when you hear of others heading off and very VERY hard not to expect more & more from life!!!

These photos are more of my travels, some (most) as far back as 2006 and this time we were in the south of England.....such a pretty part of the world. (I confess, I write this while day dreaming about my next trip to Paris....I am sooooo looking forward to 2012!!!)

p.s....I am a firm believer that you must have something to look forward to....it doesn't really matter how far off it might be...?!

Hello Linda,

Oh me too.. I love to travel, I was just talking last night about going to Paris, I'm sure its much better than England, but I do love our rustic seaside towns, but alas only in the summer months :)

Hola Linda, podrías por favor decirme el lugar en donde tomaste la última fotografía? es un adorable lugar, es un lago? es mar? No puedo imaginar que sea real!
Un abrazo

I also love to travel, Hubby and I was talking yesterday about going to California next year, together with the children. Oh, I am so exited !

France and England are such wonderful, romantic country`s. I am happy that we visited so many places in France and I am very hopeful to see some of Englands nice seaside towns.

Thank you for sharing those wonderful pictures with us!

I was just looking at my 2006 England photos last night and wishing for the next trip, don't know when that will be, but I am sure waiting in anticipation!!!!! We slept in a Vicarage B&B that looks very similar to your photo in Lacock near Bath, a delightful village full of old Tudor houses that was a shooting location for the BBC drama Pride & Prejudice.
Travelling is wonderful especially for us who live in "new" countries.

I'm agree with you. We must have something to look forward to. It is very important! A new project a new travel, a new dream. To travel when and where it is possible. Not always we can do it but I think we have to live our present with love and simplicity for the future will see. Tomorrow is an other day with an other dream ;o)

Superb photos! I love the south of England, typical English villages.
I do agree with you, it is very important to have plans of all kinds.

Beautiful photos! They bring out the dreamer in me! However, I can't say that I like to travel. I'm okay with just looking at the photos and yours always fill the bill for me. Once in a while, I like to come to your beautiful blog and just wander around and admire all those lovely places you have visited. I will never forget your Christmas pics of all those store windows decorated for the holidays. They are so memorable!

I bet I could spend days on end happily entertaining myself looking through your travel photos. These are gorgeous!!!!

I also think it is VERY important to have something to look forward to. Even if it is not something big like a trip (though that is the best). For me... It can just be knowing something special is going to arrive in the mail.

On the way home from our trips we take time on the plane to discuss where the next adventure will take us. It makes leaving a beautiful spot not as difficult when you know there is another one around the corner.

Your pictures are fabulous!

I feel the same way I always need a trip in the furture to plan and think about. Isn't that why we work? There is a whole world to see and I want to see it! Lovely photos.

Linda,

your photos are beautiful, I don't think it matters which part of the world you travel to, each destination has an allure of it's own.

England has a beauty and charm different to other parts of Europe.....these images capture that wonderfully.

It is important to have a new focus or dream, it's what keeps us moving through daily life and inspires us to achieve.

Linda dear, thanks for sharing these photos, which are a source of inspiration for us miniaturists!
the houses are beautiful and I confess to a small cottage-style old England is trying a lot to me:)
travel is beautiful, you see the world, and brings home lots of memories and emotions.
shame to see the world, it takes a lot of money, and not everyone has the financial ability ....
have a good day :))

Que c'est important de voyager , de découvrir d'autres paysages , j'adore .J'ai toujours aimé l'architecture des cottages anglais , mais le temps pour les vacances d'été n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous .Merci pour ces photos.
