Chippendale Bookcase....

Just this morning I added the final details to the exterior of this kit. I used little  draw pulls and key plates I purchased on-line from  Janny at Art of Mini.....I am very pleased with the result. But what also pleased was ALL the Elisabeth Causeret (France) porcelain I found to fill it. I am a huge fan of Elisabeth's work (if you cannot tell..?) and when I get the chance to do so I add to my collection. If it will remain this way I do not know, time will tell when I have more work to my 'shop' completed.

I'm so glad to see a new post from you. Your bookcase is beautiful with all Elisabeth's work. the colour of the bookcase is perfect with the colour of all the porcelain items. I love everything.

It looks fantastic with that wonderful dark hardware. I love the color your painted the case to display that gorgeous white porcelain.
OK.. How about a key to fit in the hole with a tassel. ;-)

It all looks very French/ Gustavian, and I adore the contrast of the dark hardware against the light painted wood. Your collection of Elizabeth Causeret's white ware is Marvelously showcased inside it; simple yet very elegant. ♡

Love the color, and I agree, the hardware is the perfect touch.

Very nice! Sometimes that's the beauty of it all, watching it evolve. Maybe it won't stay this way, but the journey is so fun---whatever it ends up to be, it's so beautiful. Great photography as usual with the little splash of red (apple).
