1:12 scale 'tatted' doilies....

....this is the amazing work of Beverly Miles from www.miniatureneedlework.com. I contacted Bev recently to ask her to make me 2 'tatted' doilies....(one for me & one for a friend). I was very excited when they arrived in the mail recently....the detail is wonderful!!! Once again I am amazed how some people can work in such a 'fine' thread & scale to achieve such a beautiful result.
The third photo shows the doilie with a piece of Margaret Crosswell's beautiful work, plus I included the first photo to show both items compared in size with a 1/4" paint brush.
Thank you so much Bev....your work is beautiful!!!
No....I didn't say who I was sending the other one to, did I...?

Well whoever gets it will most certainly be very lucky to own it. =) It is absolutely beautiful, Linda! I can never get over how people are able to make such teeny things. =)

It's beautiful, Linda, such fine work! The detail is wonderful. Whoever gets the other one is going to be very happy! Margaret Crosswell's little vase is lovely, too.

Hi dear, the doily is lovely. I cannot think how anybody can do tatting so small. I tried in real size and it was nerve wracking. I know you are busy and so am I, but I need to find time for a good "talk". Sooner than later. Hugs Rosanna

Linda, The doily is exquisite! What incredible detail. I think these are the best tatted one's that I have seen. I really love the fabric that you have used for the background too! That would be so glorious on a chaise or chair!!!! <---even walls!!!
